In 2020, we started a new project in Kenya.
Mdengerekeni Primary School is located in the outskirts of Mombasa, in a rural area called Kashani.
The school welcomes 120 children aging from 3 to 15 years old, and it teaches classes ranging from English, math, Swahili to geography. However, space is limited to a small number of classrooms and teachers are also scarce.
We have supported the school holistically and distributed clothes as well as schooling material. In 2021, we aim to construct a water pump in the school premises, in order to bring fresh water and be able to store it in containers. This will solve the everyday water needs for the school and its children, and it will also allow for the school to grow its own vegetable garden, giving the opportunity for children to consume their own fruits and vegetables.
We continue to keep in touch with the schools in Argentina and in India.
We support them with financial aid, to the best of our ability.
